A really clever product I just came across is The Bottle Tamer by Lil Bah Bee. This ingenious product is simply an adjustable strap that attaches to your child’s bottle, sippy cup or toy to their stroller, high chair or even the shopping cart. The Lil Bah Bee strap prevents the bottle from falling through the ground over and over and would have made my life a million times easier when Catie was ten-months-old and going through a stage where she threw her cup on the floor if she was done with it!

I have written in the past of Table Toppers, which I carry in my diaper bag when I take my daughter out to restaurants. I was really happy to receive this earth-friendly alternative to them in the mail.

Celebrity Baby Blog’s Danielle first introduced me to wraps when my daughter was already 6-months. I was an immediate convert and fell in love with the Moby Wrap. Yes it is a bit difficult to figure out how to tie it at first, but once you have done it a few times you become an expert at it. Perfect for when we go out to eat and are waiting for the food to be served, the Sam & Bellie chalk mat is small so it’s easily transportable. The chalk mat is a very simple concept: decorative fabric on one side (ours has paper dolls) and chalk cloth (like a soft blackboard) on the other. I roll my chalk mat closed and tuck it into my diaper bag and then, whenever I need to distract my 18-month-old, I roll it open and hand her a piece of chalk. The chalk comes off with a dry or wet wipe, no problem.

I’m always searching for kids music that I can play in my car for my daughter that doesn’t make me want to reach into the cd player and throw the entire thing out the window while doing 70 on the interstate. The music is done really well (if you didn’t listen to the lyrics you wouldn’t think it was music designed specifically for kids) and Princess Katie has a great voice. As an added bonus, my daughter, Catie, loves hearing her name used in the songs!

When I was first trying to get the hang of nursing, the last thing I needed to worry about was finding a good bra so I made sure to invest in an Original Nursing Bra from Bravado! Designs.

Perfect for the first several months of breastfeeding when it seems like breasts are changing size every hour (and they are!), this bra offers super-comfortable support while you are still establishing your breastfeeding relationship with your baby. I liked the Target one just fine but didn’t feel that it offered enough support for my large chest. I did not like the Motherhood Maternity one at all. It was way too tight and was a recipe for a breast infection.

The Essential Nursing Bra Tank is great. Not only does it have a molded, seamless bra on the inside that offers great support and shapes you nicely, but the design is really cute. It kind of gathers at the cleavage area and the nursing clips are really subtle (you wouldn’t even know they were nursing clips if you weren’t a savvy nursing mama yourself) but still easy to access. I can wear it as a shirt and no one is the wiser. I really love it. My one complaint is that they don’t make it in sizes larger than an E (DD) but hopefully by the time I get pregnant again they will have come out with larger sizes. I do plan on nursing through my next pregnancy and I would happily wear one of these everyday (the sizing is flexible so it’ll fit a growing belly) if they have it in my size by then!

Angelina Jolie is a fan of the Essential Nursing Bra Tank. She has a few in white, and as you have probably already noticed, many in black.

I also received the Lifestyle Microfiber Bra (in hot pink – I love it!). This bra is great and I love wearing it to work. It’s seamless so you can’t tell that I’m wearing a nursing bra under my fitted shirts. As a new mom you are often asked what your “must have” items are. Most times these include things like changing pads, diaper bags and slings so my answer – Robeez booties – always raises a few eyebrows.

Every once in a while I come across a product that leaves me thinking “Oh my god, I need that right now!” Such was the case when I came across the Magic Dog Studio line – a line of handcrafted and custom-made jewelry and home decor.

I brought my daughter home from the hospital in a Hotsling and to this day it remains my favorite sling. Aside from using only the finest 100% cotton garments available, nina and tom also use organically grown cotton in many cases — a more sustainable, responsible and eco-conscious solution. They also donate garments and a percentage of profits to many national and international charities.

Celebrity babies Moses Martin and Kingston Rossdale were gifted with nina and tom’s Onesie-A-Month Club. This sweet deal means that they’ll be getting twelve onesies by the time they turn one!
