Catie’s little friend Declan is sporting a new t-shirt that has all the daycare ladies carrying him from room to room to show him off. It’s the I’m the Man onesie from Divas N Babes.

Divas N Babes, a new apparel line designed for cool babies (like Declan) and haute mamas (like his mommy, Brooke)! Moms everywhere have been raving about the line which includes a line of shirts for the Divas (a.k.a Moms), a line for the babes, a line for both mom and baby and a line of baby carriers (including both ring slings and mei tais).

Celebrity moms love the line as much as we do. Tori Spelling (pictured here) bought the I’m the Man onesie from hot boutique Intuition in L.A. while she was still pregnant to announce the gender of her baby boy! Divas N Babes gifted Liam after his birth with a Will Work for Milk onesie and Tori received the Tori Mei Tai cotton and duponi silk (designed in her nursery colors and also pictured here). Both mother and son got to enjoy the Diva/Babe mother/baby matching tees – how cute!

Other celebrities who love Divas N Babes include:

Gwen Stefani, who was gifted with a Gwen Ring Sling and Mei Tai duponi silk and Chinese silk brocade baby carriers. Kingston owns both the Will Work for Milk and I’m the Man onesies. The mother/son duo also own Diva/Babe matching tees, as well as Bosom Buddies matching tees.

Angelina Jolie was gifted with Angelina Ring Sling dupioni silk and Chinese silk brocade baby carrier.

Kim Porter and D’Lila Star Combs and Jessie James Combs were gifted the adorable Babe A/Babe B onesies for twins, the Future Queen of Hearts/Future Queen of Diamonds sibling set onesies, the Diva/Babe mommy and baby matching tees, the Born Yesterday newborn gowns and the High Fashion, High Maintenance, High Chair mommy tee for Kim. Diddy very politely wrote a thank you card to Divas N Babes owner Tonjia which said: Dear Tonjia, Thank you for the generous gift. Both Kim and I appreciate the thoughtfulness in selecting this gift and welcoming our daughters into the world. We wish you all the best in 2007. God Bless. How sweet!!!

A really clever product I just came across is The Bottle Tamer by Lil Bah Bee. This ingenious product is simply an adjustable strap that attaches to your child’s bottle, sippy cup or toy to their stroller, high chair or even the shopping cart.

A really clever product I just came across is The Bottle Tamer by Lil Bah Bee. This ingenious product is simply an adjustable strap that attaches to your child’s bottle, sippy cup or toy to their stroller, high chair or even the shopping cart. The Lil Bah Bee strap prevents the bottle from falling through the ground over and over and would have made my life a million times easier when Catie was ten-months-old and going through a stage where she threw her cup on the floor if she was done with it!

What I especially like about these straps is that they can be used with a bottle of any size. It works great with our Munchkin straw cups which is great because there was no way of attaching them to the stroller before.

I really love this product; celebrities do too! Melissa Joan Hart wrote the company saying “I use The Bottle Tamer all the time – it is permanently attached to Mason’s Stroller.” Jamie Pressly wrote a personal, hand-written thank you card (how sweet!) saying, “Thank you so much for The Bottle Tamer. I am sure it will be very helpful.”

A number of celebrities were gifted The Bottle Tamer including Megan Mullally, Katie Holmes, Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow, Gwen Stefani, Chris Rock, Brooke Shields, Heidi Klum, Kelly Ripa, Meg Ryan, Sarah Jessica Parker, Madonna, Michelle Williams, Christy Turlington, Denise Richards, Adam Sandler, Debra Messing, Mira Sorvino, Liv Tyler, Marcia Cross, Gillian Anderson, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Kimberly Williams Paisley, Diddy, Rachel Weisz, Jennifer Garner, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Will Ferrel.

Purchase it at www.lilbahbee.com for less than $10!

I have written in the past of Table Toppers, which I carry in my diaper bag when I take my daughter out to restaurants. I was really happy to receive this earth-friendly alternative to them in the mail.

I have written in the past of Table Toppers, which I carry in my diaper bag when I take my daughter out to restaurants. I was really happy to receive this earth-friendly alternative to them in the mail.

Classy Kid Write-On Wrap-Around Placemats are the same concept except for a few key differences. For one, they are made from treeless paper. For another, they come with cleverly named Crayangles crayons that are shaped like a triangle (so that they won’t roll off the table) and so that your child can color on them while waiting for his or her food.

Write-On Wrap-Around Placemats are available at Babies ‘R Us. For more information, check out www.classy-kid.com.

The professional photographer, best known for her black and white family portraits, launched her vintage inspired line of sterling silver and 18-carat gold image case jewelry and lockets that has since become a favorite of Hollywood’s most elite.

Katie Holmes has been spotted repeatedly wearing her Monica Rich Kosann Double Image Case Locket necklace in both 18-carat gold and sterling silver (pictured here). Britney Spears and Madonna have also been spotted wearing photos of their kids close to their hearts.

We love the reversible tutu (my daughter, Catie, is pictured here in hers) but have an amazing time pretending to be super-heros in the personalized EBK cape. For older kids, the EBK Mini-Messenger bag is a great gift and perfectly portioned for kids ages 3 to 6 (with Velcro closures to make opening it and, more importantly, keeping it closed a cinch).

Celebrity fans of EBK designs include Marcia Cross whose twins, Eden and Savannah each have onesie twin capes. Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck’s little girl, Violet, has the reversible tutu in pink/rose. Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillipe’s daughter, Ava has the EBK Mini-Messenger bag in pink loopy loops, while son Deacon has a personalized EBK cape. And Brooke Shields’ girls, Rowan and Grier have matching pink/rose tutus.

Celebrity Baby Blog’s Danielle first introduced me to wraps when my daughter was already 6-months. I was an immediate convert and fell in love with the Moby Wrap. Yes it is a bit difficult to figure out how to tie it at first, but once you have done it a few times you become an expert at it. Also, since the wrap is stretchy and has a slight give, you can keep it tied all day long and pop baby in and out of it.

The Moby Wrap is currently available is 10 vibrant colors – black, navy, forest, indigo, red, moss, natural, lilac, sienna and chocolate. They also recently released the Moby D, a high-end wrap with a center panel that is made from fleece, handwoven cotton or Asian brocade.

The very first Moby exercise DVD that is a collaboration with yogi Anna Getty was also recently released. Moby is represented in a section on doing yoga with your baby.

Brooke Shields is a fan of the Moby Wrap and has been quoted as saying that “the Moby Wrap is perfect and so comfortable. Rowan loves it and Mom’s back is not as twisted.” She was also photographed in In Touch magazine wearing Grier in a natural Moby Wrap.

If you are new to babywearing or if you are considering adding another carrier to your collection, you can find out more about the Moby Wrap at mobywrap.com.

Perfect for when we go out to eat and are waiting for the food to be served, the Sam & Bellie chalk mat is small so it’s easily transportable. The chalk mat is a very simple concept: decorative fabric on one side (ours has paper dolls) and chalk cloth (like a soft blackboard) on the other. I roll my chalk mat closed and tuck it into my diaper bag and then, whenever I need to distract my 18-month-old, I roll it open and hand her a piece of chalk. The chalk comes off with a dry or wet wipe, no problem.

Gwen Stefani, Vanessa Williams and Angela Bassett hand picked Sam & Bellie’s chalk mats at the 2006 Golden Globe events.

Chalk mats will run you about $25 and you can find them (and other cool products) at the Sam & Bellie website: www.samandbellie.com.

I’m always searching for kids music that I can play in my car for my daughter that doesn’t make me want to reach into the cd player and throw the entire thing out the window while doing 70 on the interstate. Needless to say, I was really happy to receive Songs for the Coolest Kids by Princess Katie and Racer Steve, a cd that we easily play on repeat in our house and in our car on a daily basis.

Songs for the Coolest Kids, performed by husband and wife team Katie O’Sullivan and Steve Borne (better known as Princess Katie and Racer Steve), is full of catchy tunes with a positive undertone. Songs like Sid the Bully, Worrying is Boring and Tell the Truth are not only funny, but also send out the kind of message that you’ll want kids to hear. The music is done really well (if you didn’t listen to the lyrics you wouldn’t think it was music designed specifically for kids) and Princess Katie has a great voice. As an added bonus, my daughter, Catie, loves hearing her name used in the songs!

If you are looking to buy some great music or want to learn more about Princess Katie and Racer Steve, check out their website, princessracer.com. I highly recommend this cd.

I love recommending companies that I used prior to them knowing I was a reviews editor, especially when said companies exceed my expectations.

I love recommending companies that I used prior to them knowing I was a reviews editor, especially when said companies exceed my expectations. I can say that about SonicStef Design, the company I used to do my baby announcements back when my daughter was born last year.

What makes the company so unique is the fact that every design is custom-made for you. The designer (and owner) works with you throughout the entire process from conceptualizing the idea to the finished product. The experience feels like it’s totally hands-on and you feel like you’re really involved except…well…you’re not really doing the work.

My baby announcements were nestled in a paper diaper and fastened with a real pin. I loved them! Aside from baby announcements, SonicStef Design also does invitations, logos and much more to mark the important moments worthy of something out of the ordinary.

Since the items are custom-tailored prices vary but you can check out past designs on her online portfolio. To order visit the website, SonicStefDesign.com.

When I was first trying to get the hang of nursing, the last thing I needed to worry about was finding a good bra. Here's the low-down on my favorite nursing bras and tanks and the celebs who wear them.

When I was first trying to get the hang of nursing, the last thing I needed to worry about was finding a good bra so I made sure to invest in an Original Nursing Bra from Bravado! Designs.

Perfect for the first several months of breastfeeding when it seems like breasts are changing size every hour (and they are!), this bra offers super-comfortable support while you are still establishing your breastfeeding relationship with your baby. I had a severe oversupply and I loved that this bra never felt tight on me (which is something that you want from a nursing bra in order to prevent mastitis). I have been nursing for well over a year now and this, my first nursing bra ever, has withstood hundreds of washings. Bravado! sent me a new one of these bras in the cutest leopard print. I have to say I would never have picked this print out for myself but I love it. I feel very rocker mom when I am wearing it.

Sarah Jessica Parker and Britney Spears are both fans of the Original Nursing Bra.

Recently I also received the Essential Nursing Bra Tank. Until now I had only tried two other nursing tanks: the Target brand and the Motherhood Maternity one. I liked the Target one just fine but didn’t feel that it offered enough support for my large chest. I did not like the Motherhood Maternity one at all. It was way too tight and was a recipe for a breast infection.

The Essential Nursing Bra Tank is great. Not only does it have a molded, seamless bra on the inside that offers great support and shapes you nicely, but the design is really cute. It kind of gathers at the cleavage area and the nursing clips are really subtle (you wouldn’t even know they were nursing clips if you weren’t a savvy nursing mama yourself) but still easy to access. I can wear it as a shirt and no one is the wiser. I really love it. My one complaint is that they don’t make it in sizes larger than an E (DD) but hopefully by the time I get pregnant again they will have come out with larger sizes. I do plan on nursing through my next pregnancy and I would happily wear one of these everyday (the sizing is flexible so it’ll fit a growing belly) if they have it in my size by then!

Angelina Jolie is a fan of the Essential Nursing Bra Tank. She has a few in white, and as you have probably already noticed, many in black.

I also received the Lifestyle Microfiber Bra (in hot pink – I love it!). This bra is great and I love wearing it to work. It’s seamless so you can’t tell that I’m wearing a nursing bra under my fitted shirts. Moms tell the people at Bravado! that this bra makes them feel sexy for the first time after having their babies and I concur.

Jennifer Garner is a huge fan of the Lifestyle Microfiber Bra having reordered it several times.

One more thing that I love about these bras is that it helps to know that I’m wearing a bra from a company that supports breastfeeding through year-round donations of products, gift certificates or money to various organizations and events that support breastfeeding. Product seconds (bras that are perfect to the naked eye but, for minor reasons, don’t meet the company’s strict quality standards for sale) are donated to women’s shelters, and fabric scraps are donated to elementary schools for craft projects. I’m a huge supporter of breastfeeding so I love knowing that some of the money I am spending on nursing bras is giving back to the cause.

All of these bras and more can be bought through the Bravado! Designs website at www.bravadodesigns.com or at various retail locations acrossNorth America. Check the store locator to find the one nearest you.

As a new mom you are often asked what your “must have” items are. Most times these include things like changing pads, diaper bags and slings so my answer – Robeez booties – always raises a few eyebrows.

My daughter received her first pair of pink booties from a family friend. Her first winter was a cold one and though I really liked the booties for their cuteness, I absolutely loved them for their functionality. My sister bought her a second pair in brown for Christmas and I kid you not when I say that she lived in those boots in her first year. When the good weather started rolling around very late in May I found myself wishing it away so I could stuff her little toes into the soft fur of her Robeez booties.

I’m sure that you’d have guessed it but now that we are finally getting some cold weather over here in New York, my little girl is walking around in her newest pair of Robeez booties, this time in cream. I am not alone in my love for the furry footwear. Booties are a winter favorite among celebrities like Angelina Jolie and Liv Tyler too. I will often spot pictures of Liv’s son Milo wearing his booties (he owns them in both navy and cream). And recently the Wall Street Journal voted Robeez booties “best overall” in their product review.

Robeez booties offer you the same quality we have come to expect from Robeez shoes and, as always, are recommended as the next best thing to bare feet. The booties have a double band of elastic that makes it easy to get them on and off (but not easy for baby to remove on his own) and the plush lining is so inviting you’ll wish they made them in your size too!

Just in time for the holidays Robeez has also unveiled four new limited edition designs. You can choose from blue or pink penguins, reindeer or, my favorites, pastel blue snowflakes.

Even more exciting, Robeez now offers four different sets of matching apparel to coordinate with their footwear. They include bibs, hats, onesies and t-shirts in matching monkey, kitty, bear cub and garden party designs. Robeez apparel would definitely make a great holiday or new baby gift.

To purchase Robeez products go to robeez.com.

Every once in a while I come across a product that leaves me thinking “Oh my god, I need that right now!” Such was the case when I came across the Magic Dog Studio line – a line of handcrafted and custom-made jewelry and home decor.

Every once in a while I come across a product that leaves me thinking “Oh my god, I need that right now!” Such was the case when I came across the Magic Dog Studio line – a line of handcrafted and custom-made jewelry and home decor.

This is not your typical “mom’s” jewelry with beads and birthstones. Instead, artist Jennifer Bunt – a trained metalsmith – uses sterling silver and copper to create beautiful pieces that literally turn into wearable art.

With the Off the Fridge and Out of the Drawer series, Jennifer takes a piece of artwork by your child and transforms it into a beautiful piece of jewelry. The Prints in Metal series works under the same concept except that instead of using artwork you can have your child’s fingerprint, handprint or footprint etched into a keepsake you will treasure forever.

I was seriously so impressed by her work I couldn’t get it out of my head and I finally asked her to make me a piece. Being that my daughter is only a little over a year old, I decided to do a thumbprint (I actually ended up getting a toe print instead because it was so difficult to get her little fingerprints not to smudge!). Jennifer worked with me throughout the entire process to customize it to my liking (I got her nickname engraved in the back and added a little tag with her full name to the clasp) and suffice to say, the final outcome was breathtaking. I have been wearing this necklace every single day (I have a feeling that my daughter is going to have to fight me for it one day) and people are continuously asking me about it.

If jewelry isn’t your thing, Magic Dog Studio can also do a wall piece to decorate your home with. Prices range from $65 to $125 with a large selection of necklaces and bracelets to choose from. To check out the selection and to order visit www.magicdogstudio.com.

I can’t think of any mom (or dad for that matter) I know who wouldn’t instantly fall in love with this line of jewelry. If you are searching for the perfect gift for a parent get them a gift certificate to Magic Dog Studio and I guarantee you will take the title of best gift giver ever.

I brought my daughter home from the hospital in a Hotsling and to this day it remains my favorite sling.

I brought my daughter home from the hospital in a Hotsling and to this day it remains my favorite sling. Now that she is a 26lb toddler I carry her in the hip carry for quick runs into the grocery store or from the car up the three flights to our apartment. Wearing her in my Hotsling is quick and easy and it does wonders for my back which tends to start hurting if I carry her unassisted for too long.

Though the company has grown considerably since I purchased my first sling from them a year and a half ago, the product quality remains the same. These no-fuss slings (there are no hooks, buckles or straps to mess with – you just put the baby in it and go) are also some of the prettiest I’ve seen with dozens of colors and hip fabrics to choose from. What makes Hotslings stand out among the many other slings I own are two things: one is the fact that the sizing is never “off” which is the case with many other pouch-style slings I have purchased in the past (I figured out what size I was using their sizing calculator) and the second is the padding. I love this padding! Back in the day when I carried my little girl in a front carry it worked as a great chew-toy (for real!) and now that she is in a hip-carry it works as protection so she doesn’t get red lines on her chubby little legs when I wear her for long periods.

Celebrities that have been gifted with a Hotsling include Jennifer Garner, Angelina Jolie, Katie Holmes, Gwen Stefani, Gwyneth Paltrow, Denise Richards and Michelle Williams. And though she isn’t a mom in real life, Jill Marie Jones’ character, Toni, on the hit show Girlfriends wore her TV baby in a Hotsling in one episode!

The ladies at Hotslings should seriously put me on their payroll because I can not sing their praises enough. This is the one item that I will always say is a must-have for new parents. Even my husband has recently started wearing our daughter exclusively in our Hotsling. Be warned though, both of us have the same caveat: we can’t take two steps outside of the house without stopping to give fellow parents the deets on where they can buy their own – they definitely attract attention!

Hotslings run between $44 and $80 and can be purchased through the website or at any of these retailers.

So I was ecstatic to receive a PrissyPoofs signature LadyBugPoof.

Hand-made with yards (and yards!) of tulle and designed to stand up to hours indoors and outdoors use, PrissyPoofs are not only high-quality but also super-cute. There is a huge selection to choose from, including TeenyPoofs for baby and SeasonalPoofs for holidays. You can order a SpookyPoof (not spooky at all!) as your child’s Halloween costume! My favorites are the ChickeePoof and the KittenPoof which even comes with a little tail! PrissyPoofs also offers apparel like bloomers for baby and a t-shirt for mommy. Poofs range from $34 to $49 and packages are also available.

Celebrity mom Catherine Bell bought poofs for her daughter, Gemma, and also bought some as baby gifts. Brooke Shields was gifted with the signature KnottyPoofs for her girls, Rowan and Grier. Kelly Ripa’s daughter Lola wore the signature LadyBugPoof as her Halloween costume last year! Soon-to-be celebrity mom Marcia Cross gave lavender SparklePoofs to her youngest flower girls at her wedding.

If you are considering a tu-tu for your little girl, you will NOT be disappointed with PrissyPoofs signature poofs.

We at Celebrity Baby Blog can not stop singing praises for nina and tom family fashion. This incredibly fun line of onesies, lap-ts and t-shirts for the entire family are incredibly soft and also incredibly cute.

We at Celebrity Baby Blog can not stop singing praises for nina and tom family fashion. This incredibly fun line of onesies, lap-ts and t-shirts for the entire family are incredibly soft and also incredibly cute. Designed and manually screen-printed by this husband and wife team, the shirts focus on concepts that are fun, educational and send a positive message.

Aside from using only the finest 100% cotton garments available, nina and tom also use organically grown cotton in many cases — a more sustainable, responsible and eco-conscious solution. They also donate garments and a percentage of profits to many national and international charities.

Celebrity babies Moses Martin and Kingston Rossdale were gifted with nina and tom’s Onesie-A-Month Club. This sweet deal means that they’ll be getting twelve onesies by the time they turn one! The Onesie-a-Month Club is a great baby shower or birthday gift. Onesies can be sent monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly and each onesie is gift-wrapped and has free shipping. Along with the first onesie, recipients receive a certificate for membership into the club.

Moses has also received the Blobzilla and Sweet Pea onesies while sister Apple has received the City Girl lap-t (exclusively sold at the New York Tribeca store Trunkt). Kingston has received the Der Poopinator onesie as well as the black Love and Peace tee. (As an aside, my little girl gets comments on her black Love and Peace tee all the time!)

Just in time for Halloween nina and tom family fashion has come out with some great Halloween-themed shirts too. If the simple Happy Halloween shirt that says “boo” on the back isn’t scary enough, try the Sour Flower, Frankenfish or Skelator shirts instead.
