We would like everyone to meet (if you haven’t met already) our friends at Project Cuddle! They are a very deserving and worthwhile charity that helps prevent baby abandonment and has helped save the lives of hundreds of babies since its inception 10 years ago.

Please check out their website at www.projectcuddle.org and show your support!

Also, through January 31, 2007, BabySwap will be donating 15% of the proceeds we receive from all our service provider listings to Project Cuddle. To sign up through BabySwap, please visit our website at www.babyswap.net.

Thanks for swapping!

I am so excited to be presenting Lena’s Notebook’s new long-sleeved Dino Tee!! This time, it’s an Apatosaurus, which, for those of you still “learning your dinosaurs” (as my son would say), was the dinosaur formerly known as “Brontosaurus.” The tee is based on a drawing which my son drew last month when making a card for me.

For those interested, the symbol found next to the name on each of our dino tees is a replica of the way our son drew dinosaurs when he was two. He would draw them over and over again on his Doodle pad. It was the beginning, and he hasn’t stopped drawing since.

The tee shirts are long-sleeved and are $18 each, with all net proceeds going to buy kids’ books for libraries and to support children’s library programs. The tees are available in sizes 2T, 4T and 6. We have also added an adorable baby tee in sizes 12-18m and 18-24m. You can purchase these through Lena’s on-line store.

Don’t forget about the Stegosaurus tee, our original Dino Tee.

swimmerNew Year’s Resolutions include getting fit and giving back? Check them both off your list by signing up to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training the world’s largest endurance sports training program. Choose to run or walk a whole or half marathon, do a triathlon, or a 100 mile bike ride and the Team in Training crew will provide you with certified coaches, training, teammates, and transportation and lodging at one of more than 60 events in the U.S. and overseas.
