Organizing an emergency pack is a good idea for everyone. Once accomplished, it gives a great sense of relief. In the event of a water disaster such as flood, hurricane, tropical storm or mudslide these are a few priorities to act on today—before an emergency. (Depending on the type of emergency, contents for the pack will vary.)
Order a waterproof container like an AquaPac from www.waterproofcases.net.
Print the list below and keep it inside the AquaPac. These are the things you need to put inside the AquaPac in case of an emergency:
- Drivers License, Cash, and Credit cards
- Insurance documents
- Mobile phone and charger
- Will
- Passport
- Stock Certificates
- Investment Information
- Bank account numbers
- Pictures of the contents of your home and office
- Prescriptions
- Personal phone book
- Light sticks
- Crank flashlight/radio
- Giant Ziploc baggies
- Keys to your home(s), safe deposit box, office, and car(s)
Remember, when packing the AquaPac, be realistic about what you can carry and what is necessary. In addition, remember to have a plan for your pets. You’ll also need vacuum-sealed envelopes of food and bottled water for your family.
