Changing pads. A staple of nearly every diaper bag, the changing pad typically isn’t good for much. Often too small, the likelihood of your baby touching whatever surface you were trying to avoid is, well, unavoidable. And if you have a wiggly baby, all bets are off.Thankfully, Grace Welch has come to the rescue of Clever Parents everywhere. When Grace’s first child Patrick was a baby, she found the rectangular shape of changing pads to be frustrating and the folding and rolling pads with ties, buttons and Velcro to be especially annoying. “I needed something simple that could fold easily - especially with one hand,” says Grace.When her second child Emma was born, Grace was always on the go and for quick trips to the grocerty store or the park, she didn’t want to have to lug around a big diaper bag. “For these short jaunts, I only needed a few diapers, wipes, perhaps a change of clothes and a changing pad,” says Grace. “Plus, I wanted something small and compact that I could throw in my car, handbag or even at the bottom of my stroller.”

So, Clever Parent that she is, Grace came up with an idea for a round changing pad and the patemm TM pad (patRICK and emmA) was born.
