Clutter Busting Challenge for the Fourth Week of April: Make your bathroom visitor friendly
What other room of your home will be more closely scrutinized by visitors than your bathroom? Not only do visitors go into your bathroom, alone… but they also often have a couple minutes to sit and look around (if you know what I mean). Make your main bathroom (or whichever bathroom would be used by a visitor) a comfortable and pleasant environment. Create a courtesy basket to place in the cabinet under the sink of your main bathroom. Include anything that a visitor may need including:
Feminine hygiene products
- Deodorant
- Comb/brush
- Hairspray
- Perfume or body spray
- Packs of gum or mints
- Mouthwash
- Etc.
Depending on how old your children are, and to what extent they have access to this room, be careful of what you put into this basket! I always like to keep a few current magazines and room deodorizer spray to add to the comfort of my guests. Make sure you keep this bathroom well stocked with extra toilet paper and tissues.
